Fort Weyr is the main training ground for dragonhealers, and we hope to get this Craft active first of all. Dragonhealers may start in the Craft, but many begin their apprenticeship as Healers or Beastcrafters before finding their true calling. This is the main training ground, but not the only one. Each Weyr trains some Dragonhealers under the local Masters, but those seeking the advanced training required for acheiving mastery themselves must spend some time at Fort.
The main Harper Hall is, of course, located at Fort Hold. However, since there is already an active Harper training facility at our mother Weyr, Arolos, it is not slated to become PC any time soon. Harpers are, of course, needed at Fort Weyr itself. (But remember, folks, apprentices from other Crafts do get Searched!)
The main Healer Hall is located in part of the Harper Hall in our time, precisely where it is in the Ninth Pass. At the Weyr, male healers will get advanced far earlier than females. And surgery is frowned upon, unless it is simple.
Ruatha Hold is famed for its beastcrafters. They turn out the best runners and they certainly also offer excellent livestock in other categories as well. No one really knows why this is as much of the Hold's history has been lost, but everyone knows Ruatha has the best stock there is and that these people know what they are doing.
Fort Seahold is an active port of call for ships traversing the oceans around the eastern and southern coasts of the continent, as well as those making the trip between the nothern and southern hemispheres. When there is enough interest, we hope to make this Hold, and, by extension, the Seacraft, PC. There are plans to activate a PC training ship, sailing the local seas, but this cannot happen without willing players.
Yes, besides Nerat Hold, the main Weaverhall is at Southern Boll Hold. This is where many look for their fashions, though the people of Fort Hold seem to have their own distinctive designs. So any that wish to take part in this Craft are more than welcome. Keep in mind, fashion at Fort seems to be much more decorative and gaudier since it is, after all, the best.
At both Fort Hold and Fort Weyr, there is a thriving cooking craft. Here is where true culinary artistry is practiced. Many of the cooks bribe children to collect spices for them in the herb gardens cultivated at each of these locations. The Head Cook at the Hold is particularly proud of his seafood dishes. The two Head Cooks at the Weyr and Hold tend to compete against each other each turn, so beware their complaining.
